The Colorado School Counselor Association represents school counselors at all levels in Colorado. Its purpose is to serve its members and the public through programs that advance guidance and counseling in all school work settings: elementary, middle/junior high, high school, and post-secondary.

CSCA serves over 1,500 school counselors in the state of Colorado.

Days at the Capitol: February 2nd and 3rd

Please join us this year for our Days at the Capitol! This year we are trying a new approach to our annual Day at the Capitol. We will be looking at a two day approach, hence the ‘Days’. Your $20 registration fee will cover both days; however, if you would like to attend only one day, please register for Thursday or Friday only. Thursday will provide a great opportunity to network with peers and legislators outside of the hall of the Capitol. For those who have participated in the past, we highly recommend that you attend Thursday. Friday, is our traditional visit to the Capitol.

4:00 pm–Meet at the Wells Fargo Hershner Room 1700 Lincoln St.
4:30 pm–5:00 pm- How to Work With Your Legislators (Salazar & Assoc)
5:00 pm–6:30 pm–Legislative Reception (meet and greet with Legislators)

Friday February 3, 2012: CANCELLED
7:30 am–Meet at the Wells Fargo Hershner Room 1700 Lincoln St.
8:00 –8:30 am – Legislative Briefing and What to Expect at the Capitol (Salazar & Assoc)
8:30 am–Leave for capitol
9:00 am–11:00am---Floor Work and Resolutions
11:00 am (or when legislature adjourns)–
Lunch is on your own…

Optional pre---scheduled meetings with legislators (to be scheduled through Salazar & Assoc) If you are interested in scheduling a meeting send your name and legislator that you would like to meet with to Gary Frantz at gfrantz@adams50.org.
